Karadjordje Steak Filled with Ripe Cream and Bacon

  • Delicious and juicy Karadjordjeva steak — a Serbian traditional dish stuffed with ripe cream and bacon, sesame gives a special flavor. You must try. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: very easy, total time: 45 min., 3 persons
  • 300 g of beef/ or pork fillet

Fill:

  • ripe cream to taste

  • 100 g bacon/ cut into thin slices

For Frying:

  • 100 g flour

  • 2 eggs

  • 80 g pretzels

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • 50 g sesame seeds

Preparation:
  1. Beat the meat to both side lightly, season with salt and pepper to taste.

  2. Apply cream, put the bacon cut into thin slices and rolls lengthwise.

  3. Push the ends inside.

  4. Wrap the rolled steak in flour, then in scrambled eggs with little salt, and finally in breadcrumbs mixed with sesame, you can repeat the procedure so that the rolled steak closes your sides well. Use toothpicks if necessary!

  5. Fry in a little more oil.

  6. Fry each side 5–7 minutes on moderate lightly heat.

  7. It is ready when it turns nicely brown on all sides.

  8. You can serve it with tartar sauce, french fries, boiled and spicy potatoes, as well as with vegetables.
