Pilaf with Chicken Lena

  • Pilaf is a famous Serbian dish originating from Turkey, accepted as our dish, it is very tasty and is made from chicken, peppers, carrots, you can also put chopped potatoes. There is no one who does not love this meal. Here is my recipe, follow instruction.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 80 min. 6 serving
  • 1 pack chicken white meat or drumsticks and thigh 4-6 pieces

  • 2 fresh peppers (yellow and red)

  • 2 large carrots/ diced

  • 1 onion/ finely chopped

  • 2–3 cloves of garlic/ finely chopped

  • 300 g of rice

  • celery/ finely chopped

  • primrose leaf/ finely chopped

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • dry spice/ Vegeta to taste

Preparation:
  1. Cook the chicken for 15 minutes. While the chicken is cooking, fry the finely chopped onion in a little oil, then add the sliced carrot and garlic after 3 min add peppers.

  2. Add rice and chicken meat cut to bite size.

  3. Pour enough water in which the chicken was cooked to keep everything in it. Add chopped celery, primrose and season.

  4. Stir and pour into a suitable container.

  5. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and remove for 15 minutes before the end.

  6. Bake at 180 °C 45 min-60 min.
