Rich sauerkraut with meat in the oven Lena
Cut the cabbage into thin slices, and if it is very sour, wash it in two pies of water and drain it well.
Arrange half of the sauerkraut in a greased pan with oil, then arrange the meat and cured meat, chopped onion and garlic, bay leaf, and peppercorns.
Put the rest of the cabbage over all that and ground, paprika, olive oil and pour a little water. Stir a little with a fork so that everything is united as it should be.
Cover the stew with aluminum foil and after 40 minutes, remove it and continue to bake for another 20–30 minutes until you see that the stew has got a nice color and the meat has turned yellow. During baking, add water as needed. Buon appetito!
