Triple Lemon Cake, Lena

  • You can make this cake in winter and summer, it has a fantastic taste, soft and juicy, it is very easy to prepare, and it is rich in the smell of lemon and lime with the addition of sour cream. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: cup us measure, simple, total time 80 min.
  • 4 eggs

  • 1 cup flour

  • 2 Tablespoons soft butter

  • 4 Tablespoons liquid sour cream

  • 1 bag of baking powder/ 10 g

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 cup lemon

  • 1 piece of lime

  • 1 bag of lemon sugar/ 10 g

For the glaze

  • 2 Tablespoons powdered sugar

  • 1 piece of lime

  1. Whisk the eggs with the sugar for 2–3 minutes on high speed. Add sour cream and lemon sugar.

  2. Squeeze the juice of lime and lemon, add to the mixture. Add butter and pour flour and baking powder together, previously mixed.

  3. Stir for about 2–3 minutes and pour the mixture into a rectangular cake pan.

  4. Bake the lemon cake at 180 °C for 25 minutes.

  5. Squeeze the lime juice for the glaze and mix with the powdered sugar.

  6. Spread evenly on the baked cake and leave to cool for 30–40 minutes, before serving.
