Baked Ribs in the oven with Potatoes I like to make baked ribs with potatoes at least once every 3 months, they always turn out tasty and juicy, and I prepare them this way. Follow recipe. Ingredients : simple, total time: 90 min. plis 30 min. standing or overnight, 2 serving 950 g - 1 kg pork ribs Mixture : 1 tsp of ground black pepper 4 tsp of granulated garlic 1/2 tsp of salt 1 tsp red ground pepper-allspice 1 tsp of red ground hot pepper 1 Tbsp of mustard 1 tsp of dry spice BBQ Sauce aluminum foil Brush If you don't have BBQ Sauce : 2 Tbsp tomato paste 1 Tbsp soy sauce 1 tsp honey For Potatoes : 4 big potatoes/diced 1 yellow fresh pepper/ diced 2 sprig rosemary 1 tsp red ground pepper salt to taste 1 tsp dry spice-Vegeta/ or to taste 2 Tbsp oil/ or fat to taste 150 ml hot water Baking dish 20 × 20 cm/ or 25 × 25 Preparation : Mix all the dry ingredients for the ribs in a small bowl. Put the mustard in a small bowl. With the help of a brush, coat the ribs. If the ribs are whole and with skin-on top, you will bake them longer. You will remove the thin skin from the bottom side. Mine are torn to shreds. After mustard, apply the dry ingredients to the ribs, rub them well on all sides. Let them sit for 30 minutes, covered, or overnight. Peel the potatoes, remove impurities, wash them well and cut them into pieces. Pour a 2 spoon olive oil into a suitable container, add diced potatoes, diced yellow pepper, rosemary, teaspoon red ground pepper, little salt, teaspoon dry spice Vegeta, stir it all and add a 150 ml hot water, stir again. Brush now the ribs with BBQ sauce. Wrap the ribs in double aluminum foil. Before wrapping, pierce the lower part with a toothpick in a few places and lay it on the potatoes. Close well aluminum foil. I put double aluminum foil on the lower part under the ribs and only one layer of foil on top, do the same. Bake at 200 °C for 50 minutes. Remove from the oven, open the aluminum foil, coat with BBQ sauce again and continue baking for 15 minutes. Do not close aluminum foil. After a while, remove the dish again, turn the ribs to the other side, coat with a layer of BBQ sauce, return to roast for another 10 -15 minutes. Place the ribs on a plate, in the aluminum foil where the ribs were, cover with a little water, add to the potatoes, stir, and bake the potatoes for another 7-10 minutes. Serve warm dish with soup, and salad with a red wine. Buon appetito! NOTE : If you have ribs in one larger piece and with a thicker skin on top, you will have to bake for about 2-3 hours, turning and coating with BBQ sauce and of course in foil as in this recipe. My recommendation is to make the coating with mustard and dry ingredients the day before and leave it in the fridge overnight. With this method it's better for you because you'll have less work to do, and the taste of the ribs will be even better, because it has collected the smell and flavors of the ingredients. I have come up with a wonderful recipe in Italian style with saffron with the addition of vegetables and easily. True, it takes time to fry the chicken, but everything goes smoothly while it's being done. You just have to try it, so delicious!!! Follow the recipe. Ingredients : simple, total time: 120 min. 4 chicken drumsticks 4 chicken thighs 1 big onion/ finely chopped 1//2 stalk celery/ finely chopped 3 large carrots/ or 6 small — cut into rings 3 cloves of garlic/ minced 1 cup peas/ 200 ml 120 g 1 chicken cube for soup + 400 ml chicken broth or vegetable broth 300 g Carnarolli/ or Arborio rice salt and black pepper to taste 2 bag of saffron/ total 0.250 g 1 Tbsp fresh parsley/ finely chopped or dry 2 Tbsp Parmesan cheese/ grated — optional 2 Tbsp Olive oil EVO oil 150–200 ml water Preparation : Prepare all the ingredients as described above. Wash the chicken meat, remove the skin as you like. I left it because my husband loves it. The only thing I did was remove the excess skin and fat around it, you can do it too. Season chicken meat with salt, black pepper and dry spice-Vegetal to taste, then fry in oil. While roasting, prick the chicken on all sides so that the fat comes out, turn each side twice. Fry for about 10-15 minutes on each side, until it gets a nice golden brown color. Set aside. Fry the chopped onion in the same pan, (do not throw away fat and juice) until it becomes transparent. Then add chopped celery carrots and peas, pour 100 ml broth, stir well, simmer for about 10 minutes, with stirring occasionally. After the time has passed, add the chopped garlic, as soon as it smells, add the rice, stir for about a 1-2 minute, then add 150 ml of the broth. Cover the pan, cook for about 8 minutes, then add the rest amount of broth. Season with salt and pepper to taste. When the rice has swollen, add saffron, stir well, turn off the heat, add 1 spoon grated Parmesan cheese, stir well. Transfer all the ingredients to a grease baking dish, add the fried chicken with sauce, so that they are on top. Place the chicken on top of the rice, pour 150-200 ml of water evenly. Heat the oven to 200 °C. After 10 minutes, put the dish to bake at 180 °C for about 40-45 minutes. If necessary, cover with aluminum foil during baking. When the pilaf is ready, sprinkle it with finely chopped parsley. Serve warm. Buon appetito! NOTE: Take out pilaf 2 hours before consumption. Heat the meat in a pan, make a sauce with the help of fat and a little water, then pour it over the rice. If you are buying ready-made lentils that are almost ready, strain them in a colander and put them aside. Cooking will go faster with already boiled lentils, about 40 minutes in total. Preparation : Prepare all the ingredients as described above. Wash the vegetables well and finely chop the carrots, celery, and onion. Sausages cut into rings. If you use fresh tomatoes, peel them and cut them into cubes. You can do carrots, celery, and tomatoes separately in a blender, do the onions by hand. Also chop celery leaves, and garlic or simple blend separate in machine, keep it aside. Ingredients : simple, total time: 25 min. 225 g of poppy seeds/ ground 250 ml of milk 60 g of butter/ diced 115 g of sugar a pinch of salt 2 eggs/ scrambled 1 bag vanilla sugar/ 10 g 1/2 lemon peel/ optional Preparation : Ground poppy seeds. You can use an electric coffee grinder. Pour the milk, sugar, (lemon peel as you like-depending on dessert) vanilla sugar and butter into a small sauce pan, stir transfer it on the stove to heat up slowly, stir on a low-moderate heat, until the sugar, butter melts and the milk heats up. Beat 2 eggs in a bowl and gradually add heated milk in a thin stream, beat with a hand beater, you should get a smooth mass. When all the milk is combined with the eggs, return it to the pot and cook until everything thickens. Stir constantly. The wooden spoon should be covered with cream and when you pull it with your finger, there should be a path, then add the ground poppy seeds, mix everything well, then remove it from the stove.
