Wonderful and healthy fig cream as an addition to biscuits, cakes, pastries. Simple and easy to prepare. Follow the recipe.
Ingredients: simple, total time: 30 min.
250 g of dried figs well washed, I removed the hard part.
100 g of toasted almonds
50/60 ml of extra virgin olive oil
1 Tbsp of honey
Preparation:
Cook the figs in boiling water for 5 minutes and strain.
Toast the almonds in a heated oven at 200 °C for about 15-20 minutes.
Peel and grind them in a super grinder, add cooked chopped Figs, olive oil and mix well for about 5 minutes.
Pack in sterile jars and store in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.
This cream is excellent for making tart, filling biscuits, for pancakes or cakes, and also for filling pastries.
