    Corn Bread with Cheese Proja is an old Serbian-traditional dish made from corn, coarsely ground flour, salt, and water. Today, there are various types to make our taste as good as possible, you can eat with cheese, ajvar, paprika. This type of proja is called "projanica". It is served for breakfast, dinner or as an appetizer, usually with yogurt or sour milk. Follow recipe. Ingredients: cup 200 ml, easy, total time: 40 min., 8 servings 5 cups cornflour 2 cups white flour 4 cups milk 3 cups oil 300 g fine cheese or 500 g 3 eggs 1/2 bag of baking powder/5 g 2 teaspoons of salt Bake at 200 °C for 25 minutes Preparation: Mix all these ingredients in a deeper plastic bowl. Knead the cheese by hand only at the end. I use fresh small cow's cheese that is not very salty, so I only add a teaspoon of salt, so add salt according to how salty the cheese you use is. Clean the chicken breast from the bones. Put the bones to cook for 30 minutes, together with carrots, root vegetables, parsley leaves in 1.5 liters of water. Cut the breast into medium-sized pieces, add salt, pepper, turmeric, a little oil, and mix everything well in a deep bowl. Sauté the onion and garlic for about 7–8 minutes, add the pre-marinated chicken breast and continue to cook for a few minutes. Simply, quickly, without smearing the hands with the dough, and most importantly, they do not absorb fat at all, they are soft as a “soul”. I often prepare them, and most often for dinner. Allow the yeast to ferment for 15 minutes. In a deep bowl add the egg, sugar, salt, flour and with the addition of lukewarm milk and yeast, stir with a mixer (with the whipping-additive), for 7 minutes, until the dough thickens. Cover the kneaded dough with a clean cloth and leave it in a warm place until it rises, about 30 min. Take out the dough with an oiled spoon and fry in heated oil. (Pre-dip the spoon in the oil to make it easier to remove the dough with another spoon. Donuts grow quickly and are fried in a very short time). You can eat these fritters both sweet and salty.
