  • This serves as the foundational topping for all pies, ensuring a light and airy texture, whether the pie is savory or sweet. Adjust the addition of sugar or salt based on the type of pie you are preparing. It pairs well with ingredients such as cherries, raspberries, pumpkin, cheese, meat, leeks, spinach, and more. The preparation is straightforward and can be completed quickly. Please follow the recipe for detailed instructions.

Ingredients: simple. total time: 5 min.
  • 1 dry yeast/ 10 g

  • 2 cups milk/ 400 ml

  • 1 cup of oil/ 200

  • 7 Tbsp flour

  • 1/2 Tbsp salt or sugar/ depending on whether you are making a sweet or savory pie

Preparation:
  1. Combine all the topping ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly.

  2. Apply this mixture to each crust, then proceed to fill it as usual with the prepared filling (either savory or sweet) as specified in your recipe.

  3. Pour the remaining topping over the assembled pie and allow it to rest for 1.5 hours before baking.

  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C until it achieves a golden brown color.

  5. Once done, you will notice that it is both juicy and light.
