Quick Puff pastry Pie with Cheese

  • A quick and easy puff pastry cheese pie that can be prepared in just 5 minutes. This dish is perfect for breakfast or dinner, offering a straightforward and efficient preparation process. Simply follow the recipe.

Ingredients: simple 30 min., 2-4 serving
  • 2 puff pastry sheet

  • 2 Tbsp Philadelphia neutral Cheese

  • 220 g cow crumble cheese/ or feta cheese

  • 2 eggs

  • salt to taste/ if cheese not salt

  • Oil for spread

  • sesame seeds/ optional

Preparation:
  1. Whisk the eggs, cow's cheese, and Philadelphia cream cheese until achieving a smooth, creamy consistency.

  2. Reserve 1-2 tablespoons of the mixture for coating the pie.

  3. Spread half of the mixture evenly over the first sheet of puff pastry using a spoon.

  4. Gently roll the pastry and arrange it in a circular shape in a large round mold lined with baking paper.

  5. Repeat this process with the second roll.

  6. Apply the remaining egg and cheese mixture over the rolls.

  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for approximately 25–30 minutes.

  8. Allow to cool for about 10–15 minutes.

  9. Serve with yogurt or sour milk.

NOTE:
  • In this basic cheese recipe, you can add a little ham and ketchup if you like, plus a little oregano if you are adding ketchup.
