- Honey Cake with Chocolate Glaze
Honey Cake with Chocolate Glaze It is known that honey cake is very tasty and everyone adores it. I saved this recipe from my mom. The original honey cake goes without the cake icing and is mostly put on the excess crust of the dough when flattened with a knife and the rest of the crust is ground. This cake is designed for those who are chocolate fans, like me, who can't imagine a cake without that ingredient. The cake is definitely delicious with or without. You can and don't have to put it on. If you go without glaze, apply the cream to the back of the crust and sprinkle with crumbled crumbs. Follow the recipe. Ingredients : simple, total time: 70 min., 20 servings Crust: 3 eggs 250 g of sugar 180 g of margarine/ or butter 4 full Tablespoons of honey 600 g of flour for mixing and another 100 g for stretching the crust 1 teaspoon baking soda Filling: 1 liter of milk 8 full Tablespoons flour 10 Tablespoons sugar 250 g of margarine/ or butter 100 g of powdered sugar Glaze: 200 g of cooking chocolate 5 Tablespoons oil 5 Tablespoons milk Preparation: Crust: Beat eggs with sugar well then put them on steam to cook for 10 minutes, during which time melts the margarine and honey, but be careful not to boil. When 10 minutes have passed, shake the dissolved mixture and combine everything. Remove from the heat, then add baking soda and stir. Add half the flour and mix well. Gradually add the rest of the flour and mix as long as you can. Towards the end, add the rest of the flour and knead the dough by hand, which is warm and easy to knead. Finally, put the dough in a bag and leave it to cool completely. Divide the cooled dough into 4 parts, then develop one with the help of a lot of flour on baking paper and transfer to an inverted baking tray. While developing the first crust, the oven is heated to 180 °C. The crust should be all over the tray, it can even slightly cross the edges. Bake for about 10 minutes if the pan is thicker, if it is thinner for more than 8 minutes, do not. Take good care of the crusts, don't go anywhere from them because if you overcook them, they will be too hard to remove from the tin, they will break very easily. Repeat this with the rest of the crust. For Filling: Mix flour, sugar and 250 ml of cold milk and bring the rest of the milk to a boil. When it boils, cook the kneaded mass of flour and mix until it thickens. Remove from the heat, cover with a bag or foil directly over the filling, and leave to cool completely. Whisk the room temperature margarine with powdered sugar until foamy, then add the cooled filling and whisk everything with a mixer. Add half of the flour filling. Half and whisk and then the rest. Fill the cooled crust, load a little. Over put some tray to hold it a little, there is no need for something heavy. After a few hours, melt the chocolate with oil in a steamer, remove, then add the milk and mix quickly. If it is still thick, add a little more milk and pour over the back crust. Shake the cake so that the icing “lies” nicely and leave it to set. It is best to leave the cake to stand overnight, then cut off the edges the next day and then chop and serve. - Snails with Walnuts
Snails with Walnuts A wonderful homemade dessert with walnuts, irresistible, soft and delicious, which is easy to prepare. I think that every housewife would like to have this kind of dessert on the table. My mom often made it especially for her grandchildren. I always enjoy eating them! Follow recipe. Ingredients: simple, total time: 60 min. 14 serving For Rising Yeast 22 g fresh yeast/ or dry yeast 7 g 150 ml lukewarm milk 1 teaspoon sugar pinch of salt Filling: 3 fresh egg whites/ white snow 200 g sugar 2 bag vanilla sugar/ 20 g 200 g ground walnuts Dough: 3 egg yolks/ room temperature 80 g butter/ melted or diced pinch of salt 2 Tablespoon sugar 500-550 g flour 00 / to make the dough soft + working area 50 ml lukewarm milk Preparation: First, you will make the yeast rise This is done by crushing the yeast in 150 ml of lukewarm milk, adding 1 teaspoon sugar, pinch of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of flour, mix it all well and leave the yeast to rise for about 15–20 minutes. (Always make sure you have fresh yeast when you make dough, because once it happened to me that I took it from the freezer, and it didn't turn out the best!) During this time, make the filling for the dough. Filling: First, beat the egg whites into stiff snow, then gradually add sugar with vanilla sugar one spoon at a time, and mix turbo at the same time. When you have solid snow, add ground walnuts and stir into a compact mixture with a spatula. Filling is done. Dough: Add 3 egg yolks, 50 ml milk, pinch of salt, 2 tablespoons of sugar to a deep bowl for making the dough and mix it all, add the risen yeast, melted butter and gradually add the flour. For the first time, mix with a wooden spoon, then work with manually. Gradually add more flour until you get a dough that separates from the bowl and is a little gooey. When you have received the dough according to the description, cover the bowl with foil, wait for the dough to rise for about 20–30 minutes. Keep it in a warm place. After that, divide the dough into two equal balls. Cover the second dough ball with a clean cloth while rolling out the first dough ball. First, make the dough by hand, sprinkle a little flour on the work surface, then start rolling it out with a rolling pin, in order to shape it into a rectangle about 3 mm thick. Cover with filling and roll up. Repeat the same process with the other dough ball. Cut into finger-thick pieces. Place the baked paper in the oven tray, then arrange the snails with distance. With a spoon, gently press the snails to flatten the circles to join the dough with the filling, fix the shape if it flattens so it will look nicer when baked. You can do all that manually. Don't just squeeze hard! The thickness of the circle must be about 1 cm. Bake the snails at 180 °C for about 20 minutes, they must not be dark! More light dough we need. If your oven is strong, place aluminum foil over the snails. When the snails are ready, roll them in powdered sugar. Serve. Buon appetito! NOTE: You can also make donuts or rolls with walnuts from this dough. If you want to make it without eggs in the dough, follow the recipe ! #snails #with #walnuts #filling #dough #pastries #pastry #filling #baking #oven #simple #delicious #recipe #dessert #food #cake #delicious #tasty #soft #recipe #foodie #dessertlover #foodlover #foodblogger #blog #coffeetimelena Use the contact form for questions or advice. - Horseradish Sauce
Horseradish Sauce Horseradish itself is anti-inflammatory and antibacterial, making it good for those with sinus problems. Very healthy and rich in vitamins. This sauce is extremely important to use in winter periods. The preparation is very easy and fast. Follow the recipe. Ingredients: simple, total time: 30 min. 100 g horseradish 1 Tablespoon sugar salt to taste white or apple vinegar/to taste jars Preparation : Wash the horseradish well, remove from the stems and peel with a potato knife. I usually grate it, but you can cut it and put it in a blender and chop it finely. Add salt and sugar to taste, pour into sterile jars to the top, and then add vinegar until it covers the horseradish. Close the jars and place in the refrigerator. The sauce is ready to use. It goes fantastically with a pork knuckle or other meat. Enjoy In bites! NOTE: If it seems to you that horseradish is strong, then there is a solution for that. For every 100 g, take 1 carrot and stir everything well together, the procedure is the same. #horseradish #sauce #cream #spread #addition #meal #meat #bread #simple #delicious #trecipe #blog #foodie #food #foodlover #foodblog #blog #coffeetimelena Use the contact form for questions or advice. - Risotto with Asparagus and Mushrooms in Dark Beer
Risotto with Asparagus and Mushrooms in Dark Beer Fantastic light risotto with asparagus and mushrooms in dark beer. A simple and easy Italian dish. Very tasty with the addition of Parmesan or some other cheese you like. Here is recipe how I prepare. Follow this recipe. Ingredients : for 4 persons, very easy, total time: 55 min. cooking time: 45 min. 1 onion or 3 shallots / finely chopped 420 g of asparagus/diced on 3 cm 300 g of mushrooms/sliced on strips 250 g of rice 150 ml of dark beer 30 g of butter 3 cloves of garlic/ finely chopped 300 ml of vegetable broth/ 1/2 cube for soup + 300 ml water 4 Tbsp grated Parmesan/ or Robiola Cheese 1 Tbsp fresh parsley/ finely chopped salt and pepper to taste Preparation: Pour 300 ml of water2 into a small pot and add 1/2 a soup cube. Cook until boiling, then turn off the heat. Wash asparagus and mushrooms, and finely chop the parsley and onion. Clean the asparagus well, remove the harder ends, and cut into smaller pieces. Remove from mushrooms the stems and cut them into leaves. Blend the mushroom stalks. Pour 2 tablespoon of olive oil into a deeper pan, wait for it to heat up, then add finely chopped onion or shallots, simmer until they become transparent. Add the sliced asparagus, and simmer for 8 minutes, with constant stirring on low to moderate heat. After the time has elapsed, add the mushroom leaves and blended stalks of mushrooms, stir and cover the pan. Stir occasionally, simmer over low heat for about 20–25 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. (Do not forget, a vegetable broth is already that salt!. Wait for the water to evaporate from the mushrooms, in a covered pan.) After that, add the rice and fry it for 1–2 minutes. Then pour dark beer over it, when the rice has absorbed the liquid, and the alcohol evaporated after 3 minutes, add the vegetable broth, cook alla dente rice for about 20–25 minutes on a moderately moderate heat. Add water as needed, make sure that the rice is not too soft because then it is not risotto, always make it alla dente! Just before the end, add butter, finely chopped garlic, and stir. When the butter has completely melted, add grated cheese, chopped parsley, stir well, turn off the heat and serve warm in plates. Buon appetito! NOTE: With this recipe, if you can't do without the taste of meat, you can add smoked bacon cut into cubes. In that case, put it after the asparagus to fry or fry it in another pan, then put it in the rice. If you don't like beer, you can use a little white wine. If you have leftover food from the risotto, store it in the refrigerator for 2 days. Before using this food, take it out 4 hours earlier to allow it to clear naturally, because rice is not very smart to reheat like potatoes and spinach! #risotto #asparagus #darkbeer #italian #mushrooms #recipe #italianfood #maindish #recipes #foodie #foodstagram #foodie #blog #foodblogger #coffeetimelena Use the contact form for questions or advice.
