Ingredients : medium, total time: 3h, 6 servings 1 head of sauerkraut/leaves 500 g minced meat/beef leg 1 little cup of rice/150 ml 1 onion/ finely chopped 200 g smoked bacon /diced 150 g for fill and 50 g for cooking 3 cloves garlic/finely chopped 1/2 tsp of dry spice /Vegeta 1/2 tsp of salt 1/2 tsp hot ground pepper if desired pepper to taste 4 tsp of red ground red pepper/ 2 tsp for filling other 2 tsp for cooking 2 Tablespoon of parsley/ finely chopped 2 bay leafs 1 Tbsp of lard or oil Serbian Sarma of the Užice Region Preparation: Clean the head of sauerkraut from the hard part and separate the leaves, and if they are very sour, wash them under a stream of water and arrange them in a colander to strain well before preparation. Cut the bacon into small cubes and set aside. 150 g bacon goes to fill and other 50 g put in other side. Finely chop the onion and garlic. Take a wok pan and pour fat or oil and wait for it to heat up on moderate heat. Add the onion and fry it for a few seconds, then immediately add the diced bacon, stir until the bacon becomes transparent. Immediately after that, add the minced beef, stir well ingredients, cook about 10 minutes, covered and stirring occasionally. In the meantime, always add a little water every 15 minutes, cooking is on moderate heat. 40 minutes before the end, add ground peppers, mix well with the liquid and finish cooking. It is very soft cake and tasty. Taste is fantastic and delicious, we regularly make both (my mum and me) and everyone is satisfied. This is an old recipe of my grandmother. Follow recipe. Dough: 450 g of flour and maybe more 1/2 bag baking powder/ 7g 1 egg 250 g margarine/ or butter 4 Tablespoons sugar/100 g 50-70 ml milk 1 bag of vanilla sugar/10 g 1 lemon grated Fill: 1 kg of apples/ grated 2 Tablespoons sugar 1 vanilla sugar/ 10 g cinnamon to taste / optional add lemon only if the apples are sweet, if they are sour add only sugar to taste 1 bag vanilla sugar/ 10 g, to sprinkle the dough before baking 180 °C, 45 min. grease a baking sheet with margarine or butter and a little flour For Sprinkle: Walnuts grounded sprinkle on the fill 150-200 g 1 bag vanilla sugar/ 10 g sprinkle on the second dough before baking Lazy pie of apple and walnuts Lena Preparation: Mix the flour with the baking powder in a single plate and mix well. In a deeper plastic bowl, mix the margarine well so that it is frothy, put the egg, vanilla sugar and plain sugar, then add milk and 1 full teaspoon of lemon peel. Finally add flour, and mix until you get a thick dough, go to the manual work of the dough, when you get a smooth dough, divide it into 2 parts. Roll out the first part of the dough with a rolling pin and place it directly on a greased baking sheet. Fill in the corners aligned with your hands. When you are done, then go to work on the filling. Take a deeper pot, put the grated apples, sugar, and vanilla sugar stir it until you get a nice mass for the filling and compact. Cook 20 min. Let the filling cool a bit, then coat the dough first-spread it well, level it and watch the corners of the pan to cover them. Then sprinkle the ground walnuts evenly over the filling. Now take one baking paper, measure the size of the casserole dish. Roll out the second dough with a rolling pin, then lay it on top of the filling and fill in the corners, do it with a knife so that it connects nicely and a little with your hands. When all the edges are nicely covered, lightly prick the dough every 2-3 cm with a fork and sprinkle with a bag of vanilla sugar. My mom always gladly prepared this dessert for us on the eve of Easter or Christmas. This is a Serbian traditional cake that is prepared in every house. The recipe is old and goes from generation to generation. The recipe is simple, you just have to take about 3 hours to stand the dough. Follow this wonderful recipe of mine! Follow recipe. Ingredients: very easy, total time:4 h, standing dough 3 h 1 Tablespoon fat a little salt and sugar 1 lemon/ juice and zest 200 ml of cold water 2 eggs 2 egg yolks 50 ml brandy (plum brandy) 650-700 g of soft flour 200-250 g of Lard plum jam powdered sugar with vanilla Preparation: Take a deeper plastic bowl and put 1 tablespoon of fat, a pinch of salt, a pinch of sugar, juice, and zest of 1 lemon, 200 ml of cold water, brandy (plum brandy), 2 whole eggs and 2 yolks.
