Pasta with Tuna in Tomato Sauce

  • Fantastic Italian dish taste of tuna with tomato salsa, very simple and fast on your plate. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: very easy, total time 35 min., 2 servings
  • 250 g pasta

  • 220 ml tomato sauce

  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped

  • extra virgin olive oil

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 can of tuna / 100 g total

  • 1/2 tsp oregano to taste

  • 1/2 tsp basil and/ fresh leaves-optional

  • Parmesan cheese grated

Preparation:
  1. Take a pot and add water, add 1 teaspoon of salt. Wait for the pasta water to boil. Cook the spaghetti according to the instructions, I cook them for about 7 minutes alla dente .

  2. Meanwhile, chop the garlic finely and put the olive oil to heat in a deeper pan over a low heat for 1 minute. Add the chopped garlic and let it fry until fragrant.

  3. Immediately add tomato salsa and stir. Cook for 20 minutes until the salsa becomes thick.

  4. Open the cans of tuna, remove the unnecessary fat, chop the tuna, then add to the salsa.

  5. Season to taste with salt, pepper, oregano and basil, stir and cook for another 5–7 minutes.

  6. Strain the pasta well and put it in the tuna salsa and stir and turn off the heat.

  7. Pour into plates and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

  8. Garnish with fresh basil if you have.
