Rolls with Walnuts

  • Phenomenal biscuits with nuts, soft and juicy. You will enjoy eating them! Follow recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 115 min.
  • 350 g of flour

  • 100 g of ground walnuts/or roasted hazelnuts

  • 200 g butter

  • 80 g of powdered sugar

  • 1 egg white

  • powdered sugar for rolling

Preparation:
  1. Take the flour and sift it, also sift the powdered sugar, add the chopped butter to the sheets.

  2. Mix with a mixer with spiral extensions and when you get a uniform mixture, add egg whites and mix it with the rest well. 3-5 min.

  3. After that, cut the mixture into 4 parts, take 1/4 of the mixture and make a long finger-thick roller.

  4. Keep the remaining 3/4 in the refrigerator because it is easier to work with cold dough.

  5. Cut the rollers to the length of the index finger and twist the ends as shown in the picture.

  6. Bake at 170 °C for 10-15 min. at medium heights.

  7. The rolls must not darken!

  8. After baking the rolls, set them aside to cool and then roll them in powdered sugar. Enjoy in bites!
