Updated: Mar 6

  • What I can tell you, this is one of the best bean specialties in my opinion, very tasty, and I like that it is a little spicy. Sausages that go with this dish and hot peppers have a special flavor. After all, you won't go wrong if you choose this recipe. This is my recipe, it's very tasty and spicy. :)

Ingredients: simple total time: 2 h
  • 500 g of white big beans

  • 200 g of onion

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 100 ml of oil

  • 1 carrot

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 1 Tbsp Red ground pepper.

  • 2 bay leafs

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • dry herbal spice to taste

  • 4 sausages

  • green hot peppers chopped into rings, or whole

Preparation:
  1. Pick the beans in the evening, put them into cold waters and soak them to spend the night.

  2. Next day, pour that water, put another cold water so that the beans are completely in it and slowly heat it to boiling.

  3. Remove the foam that appears on top and cook for ten minutes.

  4. Pour that first water, pour the beans with lukewarm water, put a little oil, bay leaf, chopped carrot and half of the chopped onion on the ribs.

  5. Cook the beans at a moderate temperature until each grain is soft. The grains should not fall apart.

  6. Fry the chopped remaining onion together with the crushed garlic in hot oil, then add the spicy paprika and immediately remove the powder from the hob so that the paprika does not burn and become bitter.

  7. Grease a fireproof or clay pot with oil, put drained beans, first half, and pour half of the powder over it, add salt and spices to taste. Add the other half of the beans, spices, and season everything to taste.

  8. Pour the beans with a little water in which the beans were cooked, just so that it is not dry, and again so that it does not float in the water.

  9. Put the beans prepared in this way with sausages and chopped into rings green hot peppers in a preheated oven to bake on 180 °C 30-40 min.

  10. Serve warm with cabbage salad, or with a roasted paprika salad.

Buon appetito!
