Donuts Delicious

  • I made these donuts with pleasure, the dough is fantastic, soft and the taste is great. My family love this treat when I make them. It is easy to prepare, also they are ready quickly, but the dough must stand, which is normal for any dough if you want it to succeed. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: easy, total time: 110 min. 20 donuts
  • 500 g flour 00

  • 1 Tablespoon dry yeast

  • 2 Tablespoons sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 lemon zest grated

  • 1 egg scrambled

  • 250 ml of lukewarm milk

  • 1 Tablespoon butter, room temperature

Sprinkle:

  • Sugar

  • 300 ml oil for frying donuts

Preparation:
  1. Pour flour, a little salt, sugar, lemon peel and yeast into a deeper bowl, mix it all. Preheat the milk.

  2. Beat one egg well. When you have warmed up the milk, gradually pour it into the dry ingredients and mix well with a spatula. Finally, add the egg, stir and knead the dough by hand. When you get a smooth structure of the dough, add the chopped butter to the pieces and combine it well into the dough.

  3. Cover the developed smooth and compact dough with nylon foil and leave it to stand for about 70 minutes in a warm place and add another dishcloth over it.

  4. When the dough has risen, place it on a floured surface, roll out the dough once more by hand, then roll it out and make sure that the dough is about 7 mm thick. Draw circles 7 cm in diameter with a glass, and in the middle of the circle draw a smaller circle 2 cm. Arrange the shaped donuts in a baking tray of the oven on which you have placed the already baked paper, cover them and leave them to stand for about 30 minutes.

  5. After that, fry them in well-heated oil until they turn brown golden, I fried them in hot oil for less than 7 seconds. Dispose of the finished donuts in a kitchen towel, and then roll them in sugar on all sides.

  6. Serve them hot or cold as you like. This treat will be most enjoyed by children.
