  • Rosen Cake is a delightful dessert that hails from Germany, renowned for its rich history and cultural significance. This traditional cake has a fascinating backstory, having made its way to the region of Vojvodina during the Austro-Hungarian period, which left a lasting culinary influence on the area. As a result, the Rosen Cake has become a beloved treat in Serbia, where it is often featured at family gatherings, celebrations, and various festive occasions.

Preparation

For those who enjoy the process of baking, making the crust from scratch is an option that not only enhances the flavor but also provides a satisfying sense of accomplishment. The crust is typically made from basic ingredients such as flour, butter, sugar, and eggs, which come together to create a tender and flaky base.
