- Salt and Sugar: Basic seasonings that help balance the flavors of the salad, bringing out the natural sweetness of the vegetables.
Preparation Method
The preparation of this winter salad is not only easy but also an enjoyable activity that can be shared with friends or family. Begin by washing and preparing all the vegetables. Chop the cabbage into thin strips, break the cauliflower into small florets, and slice the carrots into thin rounds or grate them for a finer texture. Cut the green tomatoes into wedges and slice the gherkins.
Once all the vegetables are prepared, combine them in a large mixing bowl. This is where you can get creative; feel free to adjust the quantities according to your taste preferences. For an added layer of flavor, sprinkle in some salt and sugar, and mix in the essence. If you prefer a tangier salad, you might consider adding a splash of vinegar or lemon juice.
