Corn Bread, My Mum Recipe

  • My mom's fantastic corn bread-Proja recipe that I always make regularly when I have the time to make them. Quick and easy preparation of an ideal meal for breakfast or dinner. Very tasty and juicy will delight you. Follow recipe.

INGREDIENTS: simple, total time 40 min.
  • 300 g crushed cheese

  • 4 eggs

  • 2–3 cups of oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt/ or to taste

  • 1/2 bag of baking powder/ 5 g

  • 4 cups of corn flour

  • 4 cups of wheat flour

  • 4 cups of acid water

  1. Mix the eggs and sour water, add salt and cheese, mix everything again, then add all the other ingredients. The mixture must be homogeneous.

  2. Grease the tray with a little oil and flour also the sides. Pour the mixture into the baking dish and level with the help of a spatula.

  3. Turn on the oven to a temperature of 180 °C-200° C. Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown. Buon appetito!
