  • Here is a delicious and quick recipe for chicken sticks with sesame and eggs, perfect for a delightful snack or a satisfying meal. These chicken sticks are not only crispy but also juicy, making them a favorite among both kids and adults alike. The combination of sesame seeds adds a nutty flavor and a delightful crunch to each bite, enhancing the overall taste and texture of the dish.

Ingredients Needed

To prepare this tasty treat, you will need the following ingredients:

- 500 grams of chicken breast, cut into strips

- 2 large eggs

- 1 cup of breadcrumbs

- 1/2 cup of sesame seeds

- Salt and pepper to taste

- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder (optional)

- 1 teaspoon of paprika (optional)

- Cooking oil for frying

Preparation Steps

1. Marinate the Chicken: Start by seasoning the chicken strips with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.

2. Prepare the Breading: In a shallow bowl, beat the eggs until well mixed. In another bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and sesame seeds, mixing them thoroughly to ensure an even distribution.

3. Coat the Chicken: Take each marinated chicken strip and dip it first into the beaten eggs, ensuring it is completely coated. Then, roll it in the breadcrumb and sesame mixture, pressing gently to ensure the coating adheres well. Repeat this process for all the chicken strips.

4. Fry the Chicken Sticks: Heat a generous amount of cooking oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the coated chicken sticks to the pan, making sure not to overcrowd them. Fry the chicken sticks for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they turn golden brown and are cooked through. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your pan.

5. Drain and Serve: Once cooked, transfer the chicken sticks to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil. This will help keep them crispy.

Serving Suggestions

  • These chicken sticks make an excellent snack on their own, but they also pair fantastically with crispy French fries, which add a delightful contrast in texture. For a healthier option, consider serving them alongside a fresh salad, which can provide a refreshing balance to the savory chicken.
