  • Begin by rinsing the rice under cold water until the water runs nearly clear. Place the rice in a pot with a tightly fitting lid, add the appropriate amount of water, and a pinch of salt. Once boiling, stir briefly to prevent the rice from sticking to the bottom, then immediately lower the heat to the minimum setting.
