## Perfectly Fluffy Steamed Rice Recipe


  1. To achieve perfectly steamed rice, rinse 1 cup of long grain rice until the water is clear. Cook it covered in 1.5 to 2 cups of water over low heat for 15-20 minutes without stirring.

  2. Alternatively, you can use a steamer or strainer placed over boiling water for 15-20 minutes until the beans are fully swollen.

Key tips for steamed rice:

Rinsing:

  • Be sure to rinse the rice several times to remove the starch.

Water ratio:

  • For long-grain white rice, use 100g of rice per 270ml of water.

Brown rice:

  • Requires 360ml of water per 100g of rice and cooks for 35-40 minutes.

Cooking in a pot:

  • If you are steaming rice in a pot, the water must not touch the rice, but only produce steam.

Spices:

  • You can add olive oil and a few drops of lemon for a better aroma.

For best results:

  • Use proven guidelines for the type of rice you are preparing
