2 pack puff pastry
Cream
4 egg yolks
140 g of granulated sugar
70 g flour 00
50 ml Baileys liqueur
150 g sweet cream
1 vanilla aroma ampoule
220 g strawberries cut in thin slices/ 60 g part on half for decoration
For Spread Puff Pastry
room temperature little butter
crystal sugar
For Sprinkling:
powdered sugar
Preparation:
Place the puff pastry on a floured work surface side by side and roll it out with the help of a rolling pin turning the dough and the other side into a larger rectangle and divide it into 3 equal parts 15 cmx 50 cm, about 4-5mm thick. Brush lightly with a little butter in a thin layer and sprinkle with granulated sugar and then prick them with a fork. Bake the crusts at 180 °C for about 15 minutes. Bake until you get a golden brown color and a crispy crust. Remove from the oven and let cool.
Cream:
Beat the egg yolks with 140 g of sugar until foamy, then add 70 g of flour and mix until you get a compact mixture without lumps for about 5 to 7 minutes, then transfer the mixture to a smaller saucepan and mix over low heat until the cream becomes thick. Remove from heat and add vanilla and Baileys liqueur mix well.
In a separate bowl, mix the sweet cream until thick, then transfer it with a spoon to the cream and combine it all well in 3 steps. Leave the cream to cool in the refrigerator while you do other work.
Processing:
Wash the strawberries well and cut them into thin slices. Leave one small part of about 50-70 g for decorating the cake, cut it in half.
Place the strawberry leaves in the cream and stir gently. Then take the crusts and align the edges with a knife, put the rest of the excess cover on the side, you will need it later. Spread the layer of cream with the help of a spoon and level it, make sure that the thickness of the cream is about 3.0-3.5 cm. Repeat the next crust with the same procedure and third crust sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Stick the rest of the crust that you cut with a knife on the sides of this cake, so it will look more beautiful and decorative.
Decorate with halved strawberries on the top. Leave the cake in the refrigerator to cool for at least 2 hours. To serve.
