Cream Pie

  • Crêpes are a well-known and beloved dish, with various methods available for their preparation. This particular recipe offers one of the simplest approaches, allowing you to quickly serve a delicious cake. Please follow the recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 50 min.
  • 1 pack of puff pastry

  • 6 eggs

  • 20 Tbsp sugar

  • 2 liter of milk

  • 500 ml of water

  • 2 bag vanilla sugar/ 20 g

  • 5 Tbsp flour

  • 350 g density/ or flour

  • 1 bag vanilla pudding/40 g

  • powdered sugar for sprinkling

  • 200 ml sweet sour cream

Preparation:
  1. Dust the work surface with flour and roll out both sheets of puff pastry.

  2. Place one sheet on a baking tray, cut it into squares using a sharp knife, prick with a fork, and bake in a preheated oven at 220 °C for approximately 5 minutes.

  3. Pour the milk into a pot and bring it to a boil.

  4. Whisk together the egg yolks, 10 tablespoons of sugar, vanilla sugar, pudding mix, thickener, and flour mixed with water, ensuring everything is well combined.

  5. Add the milk and cook the mixture like a pudding, stirring continuously until it thickens.

  6. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites with 10 tablespoons of sugar until stiff peaks form.

  7. Gently fold the whipped egg whites into the warm cream mixture.

  8. Add the whipped sweet cream and gently mix everything together.

  9. Spread the cream over one baked sheet of puff pastry placed in a deep baking tray, then cover with the pre-cut sheet.

  10. Allow to cool thoroughly, then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
