Healthy breakfast for Two

  • A nutritious breakfast for two, rich in protein and packed with vitamins to sustain your energy throughout the day. Easy and quick to prepare. Follow the recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 15 min, 2 servings
  • Olive oil EVO to taste

  • 4 eggs/ fried egg on eye

  • 4 feta Greek cheese

  • 2 fine thin sausages for the grill

  • 4 thick slices of bacon

  • 2 Tbsp ajvar/ or to taste

  • 1 large tomato/ sliced or cherry tomatoes

  • lettuce/ or matavilz as desired

Preparation:
  1. In a large pan, fry the sausages and bacon slices until golden brown. Place on a kitchen towel to absorb excess fat.

  2. Remove the visible fat from the sides of the pans and fry 4 eggs on eye, and salt to taste, cover the pan until the whites are golden brown and the yolks are covered with a whitish membrane. Cut in half and pour immediately into a plate.

  3. Cut the tomatoes into slices and Greek feta cheese, add lettuce as desired.

  4. Serve all ingredients in plates warm with the addition of ajvar.

NOTE:
  • Instead of feta Greek cheese, you can serve Trappist6, Gouda or Cheddar cheese or Gorgonzola if you like.
