Čevapčići on the Grill-Serbian Kebab

  • This is a Serbian traditional meal, it's very tasty and easy to prepare. Čevapčići-Kebabs are fantastic, and you can combine them with a mixed salad and french fries. You can also make excellent Serbian burgers from this composition, which are better than any other hamburger! Anyone who has been to Serbia and tried it knows what I'm talking about. Ingredients: 4 people., easy total time: 60 min.
  • 300 g of beef

  • 150 g of mutton

  • 150 g pork

  • 100 g onions

  • 1 tsp red ground paprika

  • 1 Tbsp primrose

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 2 tsp pepper

  • 1 tsp dry spice/ Vegeta or to taste

Preparation:
  1. Wash the meat, cut it into larger cubes, grind it in a machine 3 times and mix it well with your hands, then pass it through the grinder again.

  2. The longer we mix the meat, the tastier the ćevapčići / kebab will be.

  3. Add salt and pepper and other ingredients to the prepared meat and leave it to stand in the fridge for a while, and then use a sausage machine, or by hand, to make thumb-sized jackdaws.

  4. Grill the ćevapčići/kebab just before serving, and if there is no grill, bake them on a well-heated hob greased with oil, or in a grated pan.

  5. Serve them with onion cut into small cubes and decorated with primrose leaves, or celery.

  6. Salad: Young radishes, pickles, mustard, tomato, and onion salad can also french fries.
