Ingredients: simple, total time: 45 min.
500 g of thin crusts for baklava
200 ml yogurt/ or sour milk
400 g ground walnuts
200 g of granulated sugar
200 g of semolina
3 eggs
1 bag of baking powder/10 g
1 bag of vanilla sugar/ 10 g
1 grated lemon zest
200 ml of oil
Syrup:
500 ml of water
220 g sugar
1/2 lemon juice
Preparation:
Using a mixer, beat the eggs and incorporate the yogurt, oil, semolina, sugar, and other specified ingredients.
Add the grated lemon peel.
Lightly oil a deep pan and layer two sheets of pastry, brushing each with oil.
Apply the prepared filling to the third layer of pastry.
Continue this process until all the ingredients are used.
Do not apply filling to the final two layers of pastry.
Using a sharp knife, cut the baklava into cubes or diamond shapes.
Preheat the oven to 250°C, then lower the temperature to 200°C and bake for approximately 20–30 minutes, until golden brown.
While the baklava is baking, combine water and sugar to make the syrup. Cook over moderate heat, and once it begins to boil, allow it to continue boiling for an additional 5–7 minutes. Add lemon juice at the end and stir.
Pour the prepared and cooled syrup over the hot baklava.
The syrup should be cold while the baklava remains hot.
Cover the finished baklava with a clean cloth and allow it to cool on the terrace.
Serve the baklava with coffee or tea.

NOTE:
All measurements for the preparation of this baklava are measured with a 200 ml glass.
If you like more walnuts, add another 1 cup of ground walnuts, and more yogurt.
Keep baklava in the fridge 4–6 days.
