Updated: Mar 6

  • My aunt has always been a master in cooking! She has always prepared everything nicely, this recipe is fantastic according to her, it is a little different from mine, but in any case baklava is wonderful, you have to try this recipe as well. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: cup 200 ml. simple, total time: 60 min.
  • 500 g of bark thin crust

  • 3 eggs

  • 300 g sugar

  • 1 cup yogurt

  • 3 cup of oil

  • 1 bag vanilla sugar/ 10 g

  • 1 Tbsp baking powder

  • 1/2 lemon juice

  • 500 g walnuts/ ground

  • 500 g raisins/ finely chopped

  • 4 cup water

  • 3 cup sugar

  1. Divide 1/2 kg of bark into 2 parts.

  2. Arrange the crust in a pan, coat each crust with filling: (3 eggs. 300 g sugar, 1 yogurt, 3 cups oil, 1 vanilla sugar, baking powder and juice of half a lemon).

  3. When the first part of the crust is used up-(in the middle), put 100 g of walnuts and 100 g of raisins. Do the same with the rest of the rind, so that the upper rind is also coated with rest filling.

  4. Bake in the oven at 180 °C, cover with aluminum foil for 30 minutes. Then remove the aluminum foil and continue to bake for another 15–20 minutes.

  5. Pour cooled syrup of 4 cups of water and 3 cups of sugar over the baked cake.
