Baklava Soft Cake

  • Famous baklava of Turkish origin, a dessert that we all gladly accepted, soft juicy sweet and full of walnuts, try to make it yourself! The procedure is very easy and will be ready quickly, they are eaten cold. I deliver 3 recipes. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 40 min.
  • 200 g of sugar

  • 2 Tablespoons oil

  • 3 egg whites

  • 2 eggs

  • 60 g of flour

  • 200 gr of chopped walnuts

  • 3 Tablespoons orange juice

  • pinch of salt

  • a pinch of cinnamon

Topping:

  • 140 g of sugar

  • 1 Tablespoon honey

  • 100 ml of squeezed orange juice

  • 1 Tablespoon squeezed lemon juice

  • cinnamon seeds

Preparation:
  1. Mix eggs and egg whites with sugar and add other ingredients.

  2. Place the oven in a 20×25 size pan or in a cake tin.

  3. Bake at 170 °C for about 30 min.

  4. Heat the topping until the sugar has dissolved.

  5. Pour the topping over the baked cake and cool. You can decorate with nuts

2. Recipe Baklava:
Ingredients:

Dough:

  • 10 eggs

  • 300 g walnuts — 10 Tbsp for biscuit

  • 1/2 baking powder/5 g

  • 2 Tablespoons pretzels

  • 10 Tablespoons sugar

For Topping:

  • 2 cups of sugar /250 ml cup

  • 3 cups water/250 ml cup

  • 1 lemon juice

For Sprinkling:

  • The remaining amount of ground walnuts.
