Rice with paprika simple recipe

  • Rice with paprika in a quick and easy way. A healthy side dish that you can combine with chicken meat. Follow the recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 35 min. 2 - 4 serving
  • 2 Tbsp Olive oil EVO

  • 1/2 onion/ finely chopped

  • 200 ml rice

  • 1 fresh red paprika

  • 1 tsp dry spice Vegeta

  • 560 ml water

  • salt and black pepper to taste

  • 1 spring onion — green part/ finely chopped

Preparation:
  1. Rinse the rice thoroughly under cold running water and allow it to drain in a colander.

  2. Dice the onion and slice the paprika into thin strips.

  3. Finely chop the green portion of the spring onion and set it aside.

  4. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.

  5. Add the diced onion and sauté until it becomes soft and translucent.

  6. Incorporate the sliced peppers and dry spice Vegeta, and sauté for approximately 5 minutes before adding the rice.

  7. Sauté the rice for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  8. Season with salt and black pepper.

  9. Add 200 ml of water and stir well.

  10. Cook for approximately 7 minutes, gradually adding more water as it evaporates.

  11. Meanwhile, add the chopped green spring onion.

  12. Continue cooking the rice until it is tender and the liquid has evaporated.

  13. Serve warm.

  • Store leftover rice in the refrigerator for up to two days. Remove it one hour prior to serving.
