Grilling large squids is a quick and straightforward process. Enhance the dish with parsley, garlic, onion, and a lemon dressing for a simple and efficient preparation. Please follow the recipe.
Ingredients: simple, total time: 30 min. 3 serving
6 big Squids with heads/ peeled and dry
salt and pepper to taste
Topping Sauce:
100 ml Olive oil EVO
2 cloves of garlic/ minced
1/4 lemon juice
2 Tbsp fresh parsley/ finely chopped
Preparation:
Thoroughly clean the squid, remove the head, and set it aside.
Pat the squid dry both inside and out using a kitchen towel.
Generously season them with salt, including the head with tentacles.
Add a small amount of oil to a pan and heat over moderate heat.
Meanwhile, finely chop the garlic and place it in a sauce bowl.
Squeeze a quarter of a lemon, add olive oil, a pinch of salt, and some black pepper. Mix well and set aside.
Once the oil is adequately heated, add the squid pieces, including the heads, to fry evenly until they achieve a golden brown color.
If any liquid accumulates during cooking, discard it and add more oil as necessary.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with boiled potatoes, Swiss chard, and lemon wedges.
Drizzle the prepared sauce over the squid before serving.
Buon appetito!
