Original Greek Tzatziki Salad
  • Tzatziki salad is a traditional salad originating from Greece, and don't ask for a lot of ingredients, it is prepared very easy and quick, very tasty, and cools, especially in the summer. This salad always goes with any meal as a side dish. Most importantly, it doesn’t require a lot of groceries. If you want it to be spicier, add a little more garlic. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 15 min.
  • 1/2 big cucumber/ or 1 medium

  • 1 and 1/2 cups full-fat Greek yogurt

  • 1 Tablespoon of white vinegar

  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 large cloves of garlic/ minced

  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

  • fresh weed dill

  1. 1 and 1/2 cup plain full-fat Greek yogurt, 2 large cloves of garlic, finely ground, 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, 1 tablespoon of white vinegar and 1/2 teaspoon of salt put in a large bowl.

  2. Grate half of the cucumber with the peel, drain it through a tea sieve and leave it to stand overnight in the refrigerator by placing the sieve over the bowl to strain it finely and cover it with foil.

  3. Mix the other ingredients with Greek yogurt, the mixture must be consistent and leave covered in the refrigerator to stand overnight.

  4. The next morning, take a fresh spice and chop it well. Take the yogurt mixture out of the fridge and mix it with the grated cucumber and weed dill spice and stir well so that the mixture does not blend well. Serve with some meat and with side dish.
