Marry me Chicken, simple Recipe

  • A wonderful dish in a sauce of boiled sour cream, dried tomatoes and hot pepper gives a phenomenal note to this dish. As a side dish, it goes best with rice, quinoa, pasta. It is very easy to prepare and is ready quickly. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 40 min., 4 servings
  • 2 Tablespoons of olive oil

  • 25 g of butter

  • 1.8 kg of white chicken meat/ cleaned of bones, cut into fillets about 1 cm

  • 1 chicken cube for soup +220 ml of water (Chicken broth)

  • 3 cloves of garlic/ finely chopped

  • 150 ml cup of sun-dried tomatoes/finely chopped

  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper

  • 6 Tablespoons of flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon of thyme

  • 1 teaspoon of oregano

  • 1 teaspoon hot pepper flakes

  • 250 ml of cooking cream

  • 60 g Parmesan cheese/grated

  • fresh basil to taste /chopped

  1. First, make a side dish for this meal. This dish goes best with rice or pasta.

  3. Tagliatelle is the best pasta for this meal, cooked for about 8 minutes in salted water (1 teaspoon of salt) and 1 tablespoon of oil. And strain them well, serve in shallow plates next to the chicken and sauce.

Preparing the Chicken:

  1. Prepare all the ingredients as described above, put the spices, thyme, oregano and hot pepper flakes in a small bowl and mix, set aside.

  2. Mix the water with the soup cube and cook on low heat.

  3. Separate the chicken breast from the bones and gristle and cut into 1 cm thick fillets.

  4. Add salt and pepper to taste, roll in flour and shake off the excess and set aside.

  5. Take a deep, larger pan, pour a little oil, when the oil is heated, add the chicken and fry until they get a brownish color, about 4–5 minutes on each side. Remove from the pan and place on a plate.

  6. In the same pan, add the chopped garlic and fry until fragrant, then add the dried tomatoes, and mix the other spices well, immediately add chicken broth. Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the cooking cream and cook for about 10–15 minutes, until it boils. As soon as it boils, add the grated Parmesan cheese, reduce the heat, mix the ingredients, add the roasted chicken in the sauce, let it cook for another 5 minutes. As soon as the sauce thickens and starts to bubble, sprinkle with fresh basil and turn off the heat.

  7. Serve in shallow plates with pasta or rice and garnish with fresh basil. The taste of this chicken is phenomenal and reminiscent of Mediterranean dishes, and it is also quick to prepare. Buon appetito!

NOTE: If you are making this dish with pasta, then first cut the chicken into smaller cubes and pour it over with the sauce. The best pasta is macaroni or tagliatelle!
