Simple Russian salad with chicken meat, cheese, vegetables. Very tasty and easy preparation. Follow recipe.
Ingredients: simple, total time 60 min.
250 g of chicken
1 package of frozen vegetables for Russian salad/ 400 g
2 hard-boiled eggs
150 g of pickles
300 g of mayonnaise
200 g of Trappist cheese
juice of 1/2 a lemon
1 teaspoon mustard
pinch of salt
Preparation:
Cook the vegetable mixture for up to 10 minutes in salted water.
Put white chicken meat in another pot, when it is cooked, strain the water, then cover it with a cloth, so that it does not dry out. Boil the eggs too.
Cut meat, cheese, cucumbers, and eggs into cubes.
While cutting, make sure that the pieces are neither too small nor too big. If the Russian salad is too united, the individual tastes in it will not be felt well. On the other hand, if you cut too large, some flavors will be felt too much. It is ideal to have all the ingredients in one spoon, or at least as many as possible.
Add drained vegetables and cheese and eggs to the meat.
Mix, then add mayonnaise, mustard, and salt.
If you like a more sour version, squeeze the juice of half a lemon and add it to the salad. Mix well and that is finished. Serve with main dishes. Enjoy in bites!
