How to make Homemade Chocolate Crackers

Ingredients: total time: 45 min, very easy
  • 3/4 cup/140 g brown rice flour

  • 3/4 cup /70 g almond meal

  • 1/4 cup/25 g cocoa powder

  • 2 Tbsp psyllium husks

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/3 cup / 85 ml maple syrup

  • 3 Tbsp melted coconut oil

  • 1 tsp vanilla

How to make homemade Chocolate Crackers
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.

  2. In a bowl, whisk together the brown rice flour, almond meal, cacao powder, psyllium husks, and baking soda.

  3. In another bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and vanilla.

  4. Add the wet ingredients into the dry and mix until well combined.

  5. Place the dough on a sheet of parchment paper.

  6. Place another sheet of parchment over the top.

  7. Use a rolling pin to roll out the dough into a large rectangle, about thick 3-4 mm.

  8. Remove the top parchment (but leave the bottom sheet). Using a pizza cutter or a knife, cut the dough into 5×5 cm.

  9. Take a toothpick, dowel, or fork, and prick the top of the graham crackers.

  10. Using the bottom sheet of parchment, transfer the graham crackers onto a baking sheet.

  11. Bake for 20 minutes.

  12. Shut off the oven, and crack it open.

  13. Leave the graham crackers in the vented oven for another 10 minutes.

  14. Remove from the oven and allow cooling completely on the baking sheet.
