My Mom's Thyroid Elixir Recipe, Lena

This is a recipe from my mom who makes it regularly, and I can tell you that it is quite effective.

What do you need for this elixir recipe ?

  • 12-13 green walnuts harvested in June

  • 300 g of lemon 3–4 pieces

  • 350 g of sugar or 1 kg of honey is even better

  • 1 brandy, desirable šjivovica/ (Brandy plums), must be transparent!

  • 1 larger jar

  • 1 limuntus/ citric acid

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 liter of water for lemon decontamination

  • 1 liter of water for limuntus/citric acid decontamination

Preparation:
  1. When you have picked the green walnuts and stocked up on lemon

  2. Prepare the decontamination of lemons first by washing them well, and then put one piece in a deeper bowl with 1 liter of water and put 1 teaspoon of baking soda and let it stand for 24 hours.

  3. Then throw in the water and pour in another water and add the limuntus/ citric acid, and let it stand for 24 hours.

  4. After that, throw away that water as well, and now you can cut the lemon into rings of about 2-3 mm.

  5. Wash green walnuts well from dirt.

  6. Also cut them into thin rings, 2-4 mm.

  7. If you use sugar, pour it into a pot, put it to heat together with the lemon, and green walnuts it must not turn brown on a very low heat. Add very little water, about 1/2 teaspoon, just enough for the sugar to melt nicely and get a fine syrup.

  8. When you have finished it, pour it all into a jar and add transparent homemade plum brandy and mix well and close the jar and let it stand for 45 days in the sun!

  9. When a certain time has passed, then with the help of fine gauze, strain the liquid from the jar and pour it into the clean bottle with the help of a funnel, do not throw away the green walnuts!!! Remove only the lemon and peel and throw it away.

  10. Store in a cool, dark place.

  11. This elixir will help you cure with the thyroid gland, if you have a stomach problem, and at the same time this elixir is an elixir for longevity.

  12. I warmly recommend you to make it, you will not regret it. You will solve your problem.

NOTE:

  • If you are making an elixir with honey, then pour 1 kg of honey into one medium pot and put sliced walnuts and sliced lemons in slices and place.

  • In the other big pot, pour water that has a temperature of 40 degrees.

  • Into a larger pot, put the medium pot with walnuts and lemon and honey in that larger pot with warm water, making sure that the water does not come into contact with the honey.

  • And leave to stand for 24 hours.

  • Just throw away the lemon zest, and you can squeeze the juice and remove it.

  • Leave the green walnut slices, pour all this into a larger jar and mix it with plum brandy,

  • Let it stand for 45–60 days in the sun, close the jar.

  • After the elapsed time, pour the elixir into a clean bottle and store in a cool, dark place.

It is consumed twice a day
