Nettle tea for Cleansing the Body

Updated: Feb 14

  • Nettle is a perennial plant that is used to purify the blood and increase the excretion of fluids from the body, and finds application in all diseases caused by accumulated toxins. Nettle tea “strengthens the blood”, cleanses the body and relieves fatigue and exhaustion. Nettle contains iron, calcium, phosphorus, and vitamin C, so it is used for anemia, chronic fatigue and lack of energy. It is considered a natural multivitamin because it has a beneficial effect on the entire organism.

  • Cleanses the blood and restores strength

  • Restores red blood cells

  • Cleanses the lungs of mucus and cures asthma

  • Treats ulcers on the stomach and intestines

  • Strengthens the nervous system and relieves insomnia

  • Used as an anti-hair loss remedy

  • It is also used in cooking as an addition to dishes and for the preparation of juices

Nettle is most often used as a tea to cleanse the body and prepare for winter or recovery in the spring. It is recommended that tea be used 2–3 times a day for one month.

Preparation:

  • Put a teaspoon of nettle in boiling water, cover and leave to stand for 10 minutes. Tea should not be brewed, but should be strained and drunk once a day.

Tip: Consuming excessive amounts of nettle tea can lead to side effects, so caution is recommended. Especially in interaction with other drugs.
