Panna Cotta

Updated: Mar 9

  • Panna cotta is a wonderful little delicacy originating from Italy and its preparation is very simple, it has them with more flavors and various toppings, here is one of those recipes. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 30 min. 4 serving
  • 4 panna cotta molds capacity 150 ml/ or a single mold of 600 ml

  • 500 ml fresh liquid cream

  • 100 ml of whole milk

  • 100 g of granulated sugar

  • 2 Tablespoons of vanilla extract (alternatively the seeds of 1 berry or 1 sachet of vanilla/ 10 g)

  • 8 g of gelatin or 4 sheets

  • 250 g of berries + 1 Tablespoon of sugar for the accompanying sauce (alternatively caramel, chocolate sauce)

  1. First, soften the gelatin (gelatin) with 7–10 tablespoons of cold fridge water:

  2. Separately, pour the cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla into a saucepan. Heat over low heat, always stirring with a hand whisk until the sugar has dissolved!

  3. Finally, let the mixture cool for 5 minutes. If you want to speed up the process, transfer to a fresh container. When you add the gelatin, the mixture must be hot but not excessively hot! Turn well, so that the gelatin melts, and pour the panna cotta into the appropriate molds chosen.

  4. Leave to cool in the fridge for at least 5–6 hours until the mixture it hardens to a state of pudding consistency.

  5. Meanwhile, heat 125 g of berries with sugar for 5 minutes. Blend, filter and let cool completely.

  6. How to turn out the panna cotta

  7. Pass the mold under hot water, turn out by beating on the serving dish. Same thing if you used a single mold! Decorated with sauce and berries!

Buon appetito!
