Perfect Ice Café

  • Perfect Ice café for summer days, here is a wonderful recipe on how to make it and cool off on hot days.

Ingredients: simple, 15 min.
  • 1 cup of coffee/ at room temperature

  • 2 Tablespoons half-and-half/ or more, to taste/Half whole milk, half heavy cream

  • For the Simple Syrup:

  • 1/2 cup of sugar

  • 1 cup water

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation:

For the Simple Syrup:

  1. Mix sugar and 1 cup of water in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar has dissolved.

  2. Let it cool completely and stir in vanilla extract; set aside in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

  3. Serve coffee over ice with half-and-half and simple syrup, adding 1 teaspoon at a time, to taste. Enjoy!
