Biscuits with Jam

  • Fantastically delicious biscuits with the taste of your favorite jam or chocolate spread. The preparation is simple and quick. You will enjoy every bite. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 3 h, prep. 1h
  • 600 g of flour

  • 200 g of sugar

  • 300 g of margarine/ or butter

  • 2 eggs

  • a pinch of salt

  • 2 vanilla flavors' ampule

  • 1 lemon zest/ grated

  • any of your favorite jams/ for lubrication or Nutella/or chocolate

Preparation:
  1. The margarine must be cold, then cut it into small pieces and beat it with sugar, then add the eggs and then the rest of the ingredients, mix well into a homogeneous mixture. Finally, add the flour gradually. Knead everything well and leave the dough for 1–2 hours in the refrigerator.

  2. After the spinning time, cut the dough in half, roll it out on a board, and make circles, and every other circle in the middle.

  3. Bake at 175 °C for about 12 min.

  4. When they are all baked, first roll the ones with the circle in the middle in powdered sugar, and then mix them with the hot marmalade.

  5. Put them in decorative trays, and cover them if you have a lid, they are best when they sit for a while, they can last up to 2–3 months. Buon appetito!

NOTE: Instead of jam, you can use Nutella or milk chocolate! If you opt for chocolate spreads, then spread them in a thin layer and join the biscuits carefully, do not press too hard. It is best to keep them on the terrace where it is cool.
