In liquid form, evening primrose oil is consumed three times a day after meals, one teaspoon, and in capsules three times a day after meals, one capsule. Yellow evening primrose oil is consumed in cycles (1 cycle lasts 21 days) and after each of the cycles it is recommended to take a break of at least 2 weeks.
