Baking Potatoes

  • Here's how to make baked potatoes in the most delicious way, baked in the oven and soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Follow the recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 55 min. 4 serving
  • 1 kg of potatoes/ sliced

  • 4-5 cloves of garlic/ minced or garlic powder

  • 4-5 Tbsp of olive oil

  • 2-3 tsp red ground pepper/ sweet or hot

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • 1/2 teaspoon red-hot ground pepper/optional

  • 1-2 sprigs of fresh rosemary/ or thyme

  • dry parsley for decoration

Preparation:
  1. Wash and peel the potatoes.

  2. Cut into slices of desired thickness. If you use new potatoes, you don't need to peel them.

  3. In a deep bowl, mix potatoes, chopped garlic, olive oil, allspice, salt, pepper and finely chopped sprigs of rosemary or thyme. Stir well to coat the potatoes evenly.

  4. Heat the oven to 200 °C.

  5. Place the potatoes in a tray lined with baking paper, spread them in one layer.

  6. Bake the potatoes for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally so that they are evenly baked and golden.

  7. When the potatoes are baked, take them out of the oven and serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley and enjoy the aromatic baked potatoes!

NOTE:

  • If you want even softer potatoes, cook the slices in boiling water for about 12 minutes. After that, mix with other spices.

  • If you have leftover potatoes, store them in the oven at room temperature for 1 day.
