Ingredients: simple, total time 10 min., 24 cookies
250 g flour
1 and 1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
pinch of salt
170 g butter softened
140 g sugar
1 large egg
1 Tablespoon of water
4 Tbsp honey or molasses
2 Tablespoons of sugar for rolling
Preparation:
Turn on the oven at 175 °C
Sift all dry and powdery ingredients through a sieve.
Mix butter and sugar until you get a smooth mixture, beat for about 5 minutes.
Then add egg, water, and molasses and mix.
When the ingredients are combined, add the powdered ingredients and knead the dough.
Take the dough with a spoon, form cookies, roll them in the sugar you have separated, line them up on baking paper in a pan.
Gently level the bottom of the biscuits with a glass.
Bake cookies for about 8 to 10 minutes. Enjoy!
