Wonderful and soft honey cookies filled with apples, according to my mother's recipe. It is quick to prepare and easy to make. Follow recipe.
Ingredients: simple, total time: 60 min.
250 g of honey
350 g of wholemeal flour
100 g brown sugar
150 g chopped almonds
250 g grated drained apples
2-4 ground cloves to taste
1 Tablespoon cinnamon
1 grated lemon peel
1 small bag of baking soda/ 8 g
pinch of salt
Preparation:
Put a teaspoon of water in 200 g of honey and heat it a little to make it liquid.
Add spices, flour, and sugar and knead into a smooth dough, roll out with a rolling pin and use a heart-shaped mold to remove cookies.
Put some grated drained apples on each cookie and fold in another cookie, and join the ends. Place the cookies in the tray on which you placed the baked paper.
Bake at 180 °C. Bake the cookies until lightly browned.
When done, coat warm with a little honey. Serve the cookies when they have cooled well. Buon appetito!
