Naan Flatbread

  • A fantastic recipe for buns, warm and soft as a soul. They go regularly with barbecue. It is simple preparation. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 100 min.
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • 1/2 cup warm water

  • 1/4 oz. (2 1/4 teaspoons) of active dry yeast

  • 2 1/4 cups flour for all purposes

  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 Tablespoon oil

  • a little oil to lubricate the pan

  • 3 Tablespoons melted butter

Preparation:
  1. In a small bowl, pour sugar, warm water and yeast. Stir to combine well. And put on for 10 minutes.

  2. Put the flour on the work surface and make a hole in the middle, add a mixture of yeast, yogurt, salt and oil, knead the dough until the surface becomes smooth and shiny, about 10 minutes.

  3. Wrap the dough with a damp cloth and leave the dough to rise for about 1 hour.

  4. Then divide the dough into 8 equal parts, roll out the dough into a circle of 8 inches (ca. 20 cm) / 20 cm /using a rolling pin.

  5. Heat a frying pan and coat it with oil to avoid sticking.

  6. Put the dough on the pan to bake, as soon as it appears bubbles and burns, turn it over and cook the other side. Repeat the same with the rest of the test until you have used up the material.

  7. Coat naan with melted butter, serve warm. Buon appetito!
