Potato Soup

  • Rich healthy potato soup with a phenomenal taste on Serbians way., try it yourself. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 40 min. 4 servings
  • 500 g potatoes

  • 2 carrots

  • 1 onion

  • 1 Tablespoon parsley

  • 2 fresh paprika

  • 2 tomatoes

  • 50 ml oil

  • 1 Tablespoon dry spice

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon pepper

  • 1 Tablespoon flour

  • 1 teaspoon red ground paprika

Preparation:
  1. To make potato soup, first peel and finely chop the onion, fry it in oil and add flour (you can also use it integrally).

  2. Stir well until golden brown, then add the allspice-red ground pepper.

  3. Add peeled, washed, and sliced ​​potatoes and carrots to this mixture. Stir to coat the vegetables and pour hot water over the thick soup you want, add the dry spice.

  4. Stir until the soup boils, so that it does not burn, and the spray melts, reduce the heat and slowly simmer the potato soup.

  5. Add the peeled and sliced ​​peppers to the half-cooked vegetables, and continue to simmer for another 15 minutes.

  6. Steam the tomato, peel it, cut it into cubes and add it to the potato soup, then continue to simmer for another 10 minutes.

  7. Try the soup and add more salt if necessary, pepper and finely chopped parsley leaf, boil briefly and serve the potato soup hot. Buon appetito!
