Valentino Biscuits with Jam

  • Wonderful soft, juicy and decorative biscuits for Valentine's Day. Fragrant and delicious that are easy to prepare and quickly ready. My suggestion is to make them and make that day better for you. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: easy, total time: 70 min.
  • 500 g flour 00

  • 1 lemon peel/grated

  • 2 eggs

  • 200 g butter/ at room temperature- into small pieces

  • 200 g icing sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 sachet baking powder/10 g

  • 50 g fresh cream

Preparation:
  1. Mix soft butter with powdered sugar, then add eggs, sour cream, and a pinch of salt and vanilla at the end. Add sifted flour, baking powder. Mix well so that all the ingredients come together well. Form a ball and cover the dough with nylon foil and leave the dough to stand in the fridge for 30 minutes. After that, roll out the dough to 8 mm with a rolling pin.

  2. To cut out the cookies, I used a heart-shaped shape, but you can also use a rectangular or square shape with a heart-shaped top. Use your imagination. Arrange them in a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 160 °C, 15 min. (depending on your oven) until golden brown.

  3. You will smear the base with jam and after that add another part more open with the heart so that the jam can be seen in a circle and connect. Put them on a nice decorative tray. Finally, sprinkle them with powdered sugar if desired.
