  • A simple and quick recipe for grandma's wafers, homemade. For this recipe you will need a waffle maker, a waffle iron, a ladle, flour, sugar, sour cream, butter, eggs, little powdered sugar, they are very delicious and soft, you have to make it. Let's make it together. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 45 min.
  • 300 g flour

  • 200 ml sour cream

  • 2 Tbsp granulated sugar

  • 2 bag vanilla sugar/ 20 g

  • pinch of salt

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 egg yolks

  • 100 g melted butter

  • 2 egg whites

  • 180 ml milk

  • 1 grated lemon zest

  • Powdered sugar for sprinkle or fruits syrup, chocolate topping

  • Butter for spread biscuits

Preparation:
  1. Coat the waffle iron with butter.

  2. Melt the butter, and you will need the other part of the butter to coat the granny's cake machine.

  3. In a deep bowl add granulated sugar, vanilla sugar, a pinch of salt, sour cream, and 2 eggs and 2 egg yolks. Mix into a smooth mixture.

  4. Now add milk, melted butter, grated lemon peel, and gradually add flour.

  5. Beat into a compact mixture.

  6. In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.

  7. Then gradually add to the egg and flour mixture, stir at the same time with spatula.

  8. Scoop the dough with a ladle and pour into the mold and bake, until light golden brown.

  9. Sprinkle the finished waffles with powdered sugar or fruit syrup, honey or chocolate topping.
