Chocolate Cake with Walnuts

  • Here is a nice juicy cake for chocolate and nut lovers. If you are in a hurry or someone comes to visit you, and you don't know what to make?! This cake is a real hit, because it is quick and very easy to make. In addition, it is good because there is no flour and a lot of ingredients! It is very economical! You will get pleasant compliments along the way, try it and see for yourself! Follow recipe.

Ingredients: round mold 23-24 cm simple, total time: 1h 10 min.
  • 250 g butter/ room temperature

  • 250 g of sugar

  • 6 eggs

  • 150 g of melted chocolate/ bein — marie

  • 250 g ground walnuts


  • 1/2 cup sweet cream

  • 150 g of chocolate

  1. Turn on the oven to 150 °C.

  2. First, beat the butter to a creamy texture. Then add the sugar and mix until it becomes a foamy mixture. Gradually add one egg at a time and combine them well. Add the melted chocolate (bein -marie) to this mixture and mix gently.

  3. Finally, add the ground walnuts, stir well ingredients to compact mixture.

  4. Pour into a greased pan (butter and flour). Then put in the oven for about an hour to bake. Leave the cake to cool at room temperature.

  5. For the glaze, heat the sweet cream and add the chopped chocolate, stir until it boils, remove from the heat and mix well to obtain a smooth mixture.

  6. Cover the cooled cake with warm glaze and leave it to stand overnight in a cool place.

NOTE: This is a whipper wet cake, rather than a dry one!

If you use a smaller mold, baking takes longer, and you have to control the cake.
