Mango Compote

  • A beautiful exotic mango compote that can be used as an addition to other desserts. It is easy to prepare and very simple. Follow the recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time 20 min.
  • 500 g pieces of fresh mango/ or frozen

  • 2 Tablespoons of sugar

  • 1 lime juice

  • 1 lemon juice

Preparation:
  1. In a small saucepan, mix the mango, sugar, lime, and lemon juice.

  2. Cook over a medium heat, allowing it to bubble, soften and reduce, for 10 minutes, stirring often.

  3. You can serve cold or warm with waffles, pancakes, ice cream, yogurt, etc.

NOTE:

  • You can pack these mango dressings in sterile jars and keep them in the fridge for up to 3 days.
