Muffins with Orange Syrup

  • A beautiful dessert, small muffins and decorative-Looks like small buns very delicious, soft, fragrant with orange taste. The muffins are ideal for breakfast, snack or dinner. They are easy to prepare and ready quickly. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: easy, total time: 50 min.10 servings

Dough:

  • 2 eggs

  • 100 ml of oil

  • 100 g of sugar

  • 300 g of flour

  • 8 g of baking powder

Syrup:

  • 250 ml of orange juice

  • 30 g corn starch

  • 100 g of sugar

  • 1 lemon juice

  • 150 ml of water

  • cook for 10 minutes

For Sprinkle:

  • powdered sugar

Preparation:
  1. Mix eggs, oil, and sugar with a hand whisk

  2. Mix 300 g of flour with 8 g of baking powder in another bowl, add it all to the egg mixture.

  3. Knead by hand into a compact dough.

  4. Take a muffin tin and place the muffin baskets.

  5. Make a small ball 4-5 cm in size and roll it out in a mold and make baskets in the shape with a recess. The space must be recessed because we will pour orange syrup. Be careful not to damage the bottom of the test.

For Syrup:

  1. Mix orange juice with corn starch, mix until it becomes a mixture without lumps, then add 100 g of sugar, lemon juice, cook for about 10 minutes.

  2. Pour into the prepared muffin dough, make small balls from the rest, which you will place in a circle around the syrup. There are 5 little balls for 1 muffin.(size 1.5-2 cm).

  3. Bake at 220 °C for about 25 minutes.

  4. When the muffins are done, leave them to cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Buon appetito!

NOTE: You can make smaller strips instead of smaller balls. The point is that muffins are covered because of syrup.
